25 Funny Feline Fumbles Of Cats Aiming High But Missing The Litter Box

"Shoot for the moon, because even if you fail, you will land amongst the stars." This phrase applies to almost everything, and we say "almost" because it most certainly does not apply to going to the litter box. You should always shoot for inside the litter box when doing your business because anywhere else it goes becomes a funny feline fumble! We found a hissterical cat-themed Reddit thread of cats getting an A for effort, but an F for "fluffy you" when it comes to their litter box shenanigans, and we litter-ally can't stop laughing.

From cats being technically correct to being inside the litter box but actually going outside of it, to super silly stories of cats learning to use the litter box, this post is so ridiculous we can't help but giggle.     Technically, the cat is going to the bathroom in the litter box, they're just not aiming for the right spot. We don't know if we would be mad or just laugh at this, at least they didn't get their tail in the process. A for effort.

    That would be a sight to see. Imagine having your own pool to go to the bathroom in whenever you wanted. We hope they didn't keep it inside, though, can you imagine the smell of that living room with a kiddie pool filled with kitty litter?

    2 days ago I feel your pain. I bought a "High- Sided" Litterbox for my Orange boy after his urinary crystals emergency. I greatly praised him when he began peeing freely. hobbiehawk Now my little Frankenstein stands on the edge of the box, all four legs straight & stiff, tail high, and shoots clear over the box. All over the wall and floor. Trilling at me how proud he is. And I can't even be mad, because peeing means he's not going to die and I taught him this

    Iced Hemp77- 2 days ago My girl used to do this all the time, she would always lift at the end and pee over the edge. I finally bought one of those really deep ones with high sides and a lid with a hole on the top of it. It worked really good until she got too old to climb up there. For the rest of her time with me I just spent money on puppy pads and surrounded the whole box with them. I miss my little peeing goober.

    No Particular_Tack 2 days ago PO It was the handsome boy top right who kept peeing outside the open/ low side boxes. Now they've all transitioned to the top-entry boxes. I wish we didn't have to do it this way but I gotta say there is a lot less mess and these boxes are a breeze to clean out.

    Lanjin37. 2 days ago My cat will instead start peeing in the box, then walk out while he's got a stream going, and finish off on the door. It's maddening. I can't figure out how to get him to stop. It's like he wants to spend as little time in the box as possible. I honestly wonder why he bothers using it at all.
